“vyraj”, “hylophobia” and “transition II” were recorded and mixed between april 2019 and august 2020 during “through shaded woods” recording sessions, then remixed and remastered in january and february 2026
“realm of the weeping willows” was conceived during “through shaded woods” recording sessions as well, but recorded only in fragments, then finished and recorded in january and february 2026

it is my great pleasure to place in your hands “transition II”, featuring newly remixed and remastered bonus compositions from the album “through shaded woods”: “transition II”, “vyraj”, “hylophobia”, as well as the previously unreleased recording “realm of the weeping willows”, whose first sketch was created during the recording sessions for the seventh lunatic soul album in 2020.
“transition II” turned out to be one of lunatic soul’s favourite instrumental compositions. unfortunately, due to its length (nearly 28 minutes), it was never released on vinyl. now, however, in a slightly shortened and more concise form (23 minutes), it can finally appear on lp.
i wouldn’t be myself if i didn’t add something brand new, so I am also presenting to you a new piece, “realm of the weeping willows,” which began taking shape during the “through shaded woods” sessions but was completed only at the beginning of… 2026.
here is lunatic soul in its finest folk-forest-melancholic-instrumental form.
